National voiceover industry conference That’s Voiceover is happening on October 6 in Los Angeles. We are excited to be a sponsor, and we’re also presenting a panel on audiobook narration: ACX head Jason Ojalvo, Audible’s Executive Producer Mike Charzuk, and actors Scott Brick and Jenna Lamia will discuss the audiobook business and offer tips to aspiring actors and voiceover actors seeking to break into the world of audiobooks acting.
There’s also a contest! ACX is sponsoring a contest open exclusively to That’s Voiceover attendees. One male and one female actor will each win a paid contract to narrate an audiobook — either Mark Twain’s The Prince and the Pauper (male) or Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (female).
